Since 1991 in our design centres in Warsaw and Katowice Automatix Sp. z o.o. has been dealing with:

  • the development of the test automation systems for vehicle control units and automated machines,
  • the functional safety tests of control systems in rail vehicles according to EN50128,
  • innovative projects in the field of new technologies.

At present, due to the dynamic development of our company as well as numerous new projects for our rail technology  team in Katowice which highly contributes to the creation of the most modern rail vehicles in the world, we are looking for dynamic candidates who would be interested in broadening their knowledge and horizons in the field of embedded systems to hold the position of:

  1. SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / PROGRAMMER (.NET, Silverlight, SQL Server)

The scope of duties:

  • the development,  maintenance and improvement of the software which supports test management;
  • the development,  maintenance and improvement of testing tools;
  • supporting customers in the field of the implementation of new functionalities and the maintenance of existing software;
  • the creation and maintenance of documentation.

Requirements:

  • an academic degree in the field of science and technology, especially electronics, automatic control engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or similar disciplines;
  • knowledge of C# and Silverlight or WPF;
  • acquaintance with relational databases (SQL Server);
  • self-reliance in the field of problem solving;
  • communicativeness;
  • good knowledge of English;
  • analytical thinking.

Your assets:

  • interest in railway technology;
  • experience in software development;
  • acquaintance with version control systems such as Git, Subversion;
  • knowledge of UML, SysML;
  • knowledge of German.

2. EMBEDDED SYSTEM TEST ENGINEER

The scope of duties:

  • the implementation of scripts for automated tests of embedded software;
  • the performance of automatic tests, result analysis and reporting errors;
  • the development of tools and software which support the testing process;
  • participation in test scenario reviews;
  • participation in meetings concerning practical problems associated with testing.

Requirements:

  • an academic degree in the field of science and technology, especially electronics, automatic control engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or similar disciplines;
  • basic programming skills using one of the following languages – C, C# or LabVIEW™;
  • analytical thinking;
  • good knowledge of English.

Your assets:

  • interest in railway technology;
  • experience in software testing;
  • ISTQB certification;
  • knowledge of NI TestStand environment;
  • acquaintance with version control systems such as SVN;
  • knowledge of UML, SysML;
  • acquaintance with SQL;
  • knowledge of German.

3.SOFTWARE DEVELOPER / PROGRAMMER (control units)

The scope of duties:

  • the development, maintenance and improvement of software for control units;
  • the development, maintenance and improvement of testing tools (Web, OS);
  • the development of single unit tests;
  • the support for customers in the field of software implementation and maintenance;
  • the creation and maintenance of documentation.

Requirements:

  • an academic degree in the field of science and technology, especially electronics, automatic control engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or similar disciplines;
  • basic programming skills using at least one high-level object-oriented language or ANSI C;
  • focus on the quality of the developed code;
  • self-reliance concerning problem solving;
  • good knowledge of English;
  • analytical thinking;
  • readiness to go on business trips to various countries in Europe.

Your assets:

  • interest in railway technology;
  • experience in software development;
  • knowledge of C#, .NET technology or IEC 61131 languages;
  • acquaintance with version control systems, e.g. Git, SVN;
  • knowledge of UML, SysML;
  • acquaintance with SQL;
  • knowledge of German.
